Iphone 4 comes to market
Well, I am working for the last assignment of this semester, as well as prepare for the exam. The last assignment is for public policy, I will write something about China. It needs 5500 words, really a lot of work.
Another news for today, the iphone 4 is coming to the market. But only in 5 countries, I do not know which five countries are, but I am sure it includes US. LOL, just a joke. I saw some pics on some websites, well, nothing new, I think. I won't buy iphone, because on money. LOL. I think the phone is for call someone or test someone. Only two basic functions of phone are enough for me. Oh, it says iphone 4 will come to Australia in the end of June of July.
OK, so much for that, need to work again.
PS, I find a website called vindale, it said that it gives you cash for your opinion on new products, services, and websites. They reward you for each evaluation and survey you complete, and you can even choose to keep the products you review! The surveys are really easy, and the membership is FREE. few changes
and i am facing the final exam, well, that needs a lot of work. wish me luck.
about the migration, i heard that there will no new point test before 1st July. and the new point test will come up before end of this year, well, end of this year.
but yesterday, there is a news listed on the DIAC website. about the new bill which related to migration law. well, i heared that this is a very big thing...and i think it is a bad news for us...
"Migration Amendment (Visa Capping) Bill 2010
On 26 May 2010 the Migration Amendment (Visa Capping) Bill 2010 (the 'Bill') was introduced into the Parliament. The legislation seeks to fine tune existing laws to provide the Government with a tool for the targeted management of all aspects of the migration program.
The Migration Act 1958 currently provides the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship with the power to cap and terminate all applications for a certain class or subclass of visa. The new Bill proposes to allow the Minister to cap and terminate applications based on certain objective characteristics, rather than having to cap an entire subclass or class of visas.
Example: The Minister could limit the number of General Skilled Migration visas that may be granted in a financial year to applicants who have nominated particular occupations, to ensure the General Skilled Migration program is able to deliver the broad range of skills the Australian economy will need in the medium to long-term.
The Bill is not currently operative and no actual cap is being considered at present. This Bill seeks only to give the Minister the power to implement a cap in future if necessary.
Please note: Under the Bill it is proposed that if a student visa holder lodges an application for a General Skilled Migration visa and their General Skilled Migration visa application is subsequently subject to a decision to cap and terminate, this will not affect their student visa. "
anyway, disregard this news, the most importment for me is that i need to pass the exam. so, again, wish me luck.
