today, i wake up very late, after 11am, because i am tired. after wake up, i picked up letter. a bill came, a water bill. i opened it, but...i was surprised...more than 300 AUD...normally, it should 110-120 for 3 months, but this time is sooooooo much. i do not know why, for the last three months, no evidence shows we used so much water. then i turned off all the tags, and watched the water meter. it still run. i thought maybe i miss one tag, then i went to the backyard, there is a tag there. but there is a pine on the tag, i took it off...then...i found that, this tag is......not close, the water is running out from the tag...wtf...it runed for last 3 months...maybe more than 3 months. last time the land owner came here to cut the grass, maybe he did not turn it off firmly. the water... the money...we need to pay extra 200 AUD for that...OMG....anyway, we should start to saving the water...
another thing, the migration changes today, not the whole part, just some parts. on the blog of minister for migration and citizenship, it states that:
People will not be able to lodge certain general skilled migration (GSM) visa applications from 8 May 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, said today.
This measure is necessary to facilitate the transition from the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) to the new SOL and to ensure the occupational profile of applicants for GSM clearly reflects the needs of the Australian labour market.
The temporary suspension applies to all applicants for the following GSM visas:
subclass 175 – skilled independent
subclass 176 – skilled sponsored
and
subclass 475 – skilled regional sponsored.
People who try to apply for one of these visas from 8 May until the suspension is lifted will have their application and visa application charge returned.
The government will announce the new SOL later this month.
These changes do not affect international students applying for onshore general skilled migration visas.
i do not know why it changes again, i hope the final SOL will not be so hard for us. i really hope that.
i said i was very tired, the main reason is that i cut the grass two days ago.
the details of it, i will show it few days later, or maybe tomorrow.

i am now facing the assignments again. i need to focus on my assignments again...
during the last two weeks i got every assements i conducted before. i am happy with the results, i get almost all D, only one assessment for C+. i need to keep working hard :)
some new news about immgration.
first, the CPA migration assessment will be changed in 1st July, people need to get 7 on IELTS, and must all 7 on A test, that is really hard. not only CPA, but the other two accounting organisations- CA and NIA
second, on 30 April, the DIAC needed to pubulish the new SOL, but it failed to do that, instead, it told people to wait for that. on the DIAC website, it states that:
Update on announcement of New Skilled Occupations List
The Government is considering the report from Skills Australia containing their Skilled Occupation List. An announcement and publication of the new Skilled Occupation List for Migration purposes will be made in May.
well, what should i do, just waiting. i hope the coming news is not so bad.
