assignment~~~~~assignment~~~~

I am still working for the assignment, AFF5130. But stuck in red flag. I do not know how to find a red flag. I search it in Fin analysis database, and the annual report. I think the company which is audited should not exist so many problems in the financial report. Anyway, it is the assignment, I need to work for that. The lecturer gave us one more week to do that, that was great, the assignment now due on week 13. I have more than one week to do that.

On Wednesday, the Chadstone will have a VIP night, between 9pm to 12am. Some of stuff will on sale, up to 50%. Well, I am not sure whether I will go to there. But maybe I will go, because I spend so many time at home. Maybe I need some relax. Maybe buy nothing, but just kill some time.

Last AFF 5100, the lecturer taught a classic case- Birch Paper Company. It was about transfer pricing. Well, it is a open question, no right or wrong answer.

In the last few posts, I stated something about new migration rules, but the most important thing did not publish. Well, wish me luck.

new sol comes out today

the new sol comes out today, but the new point test system does not clear

note: the following contents are from DIAC website, i just restate them, DIAC hold the copyright of them:

The new Skilled Occupation List (SOL)

On 8 February 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced that the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) was revoked from that date. He also announced his

intention that the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) be replaced from the second half of 2010 with a

new list of targeted occupations. A new list of occupations has been developed based on advice from the

independent body, Skills Australia. Skills Australia has been established by the Australian Government to

provide expert and independent advice on matters relating to Australia’s current, emerging and future

workforce skills and workforce development needs.

The introduction of a new list of occupations is part of a package of proposed reforms that reflects the government’s commitment to a labour market demand-driven skilled migration program.

a bad example of essay

I am working for the AFF 5130, 5000 words, really need a lot of work. Just for relax, I check my computer, and I find the first essay since I came to Australia. It is an essay for Accounting information system. I can’t find the question, but it was how to record a transaction which is a company buys a logo. Or something like that. I looked it again. It is really not a good essay, the structure is poor. No introduction, no conclusion. I can’t remember how many marks I got, maybe 8 out of 20. I don't know. And this is the only essay in that semester. Very poor. But after that, I got C+ on average of all my rest of assignments.

Caution: I hold the copyright of the following essay, please do not copy it for commercial purpose.

Monash Caulfield Building T

Today is very cold, say,11-17, and there is a rain in this morning. Recently, it always like this. I got up wake these days, because it is too cold to get up.

I just finished my MKX 9550 assignment, the last assignment of this subject. But I still have 2.5 assignments of the semester. AFF 5130 and MGX 9230, they are required 5,000 words and 5,500 words. A lot of work needs to be done in next two weeks. The half assignment is AFF 5100, I already finished my part, and I am still waiting for my team member’s part.

In the morning, I read a news, says about Apple’s next generation phone, so called iphone 4G. I do not know whether it real. In the news it says more picture is available on some website, Vxxxx.com, I can not remember the domain, sounds like a Vietnam website.

Some days ago, the interest rate was increased again, but I do not know the exactly number, sounds very high, and today I see an advertisement, the term deposit of CBA is 6.00%, WOW, very high. But the highest rate I have ever seen was 8.00%, ANZ in around 2008.

Some days ago, I check MONASH website, I found an interesting thing, MONASH has twitter. I have twitter, too. But I really do not familiar with it. VU also has twitter, but it is under protection. I can not access it.

I am waiting for the lecture tonight, in the LAB. There are several computer labs in MONASH Caulfield. A lot of computers. But people is more than the number of computers. It took me 20 minutes to find a computer. First I seek it in the library, no found. Then go to A1.38 and A1.39, no computer left. Then I went to Building T. I heard that there were several LABS in the Building T. but I just find 3 of them. I was standing at 1st floor of Building T. suddenly, someone asked me :”are you looking for a lab?” I replied”Yep, do you know where is T1.25 and 1. 1.27”. he showed me the way. So, I am sitting here. LOL. So many computers here, but not so many people.

I watched Jay Chou’s new MV ”Superman can’t fly” on Youtube, well, not so good. From the song lyric, I feel Jay Chou is helpless, maybe helpless is not right to describe it. Well, some words like it. Well, I hope the new album is good.

cut the grass

last time, i received a huge water bill, this is not the end, today, the toilet in my house is broken. the only toilet. really bad luck. so far, it has not been fixed. i will contact the agent later.
about the grass, i was very disappointed with the agent- Ray White. when i signed the lease with this agent, the manager told me that, i would not worried about the grass, because some one will take care it. i was very happy then. but few months passed, the grass was long, no body came to take care it. then i called the agent, later, the owner came here to cut the grass. and he came here several times to do that. but some days ago, i suddenly received a call from Ray White, the woman told me that i need to cut the grass. i told her the owner take care it. but she replied, and said, not any more. she also said the i claimed the owner should take care of the grass is not truth, becuase this rule was not on the lease. well i said i trusted you, so that one was not on the lease. bala bala. any way, she said i must cut the grass by myself beacuse on evidence showed that the owner should take care the grass. well, i do not know what to say, but i won't rent a house from Ray White again. but Ray White is really a big agent, i do not know why they did this.
anyway, i found a worker to cut the grass, but he asked for 200 dollar for that, that's too much, i just pay him 60 for the front yard, and i planned cut the grass on the backyard by myself. i bought some weed-killer in coles, but it really did not work well. so a mower is needed. this is not easy, i was trying to buy a mower on ebay, but that was too expensvie for me. and i heard that i can rent a mower on the oil station, such as 7-11.
there is a 7-11 near my house, just 10 minites by walk. i went there, and there are two mowers. it is not dear for rent, just 25 for 3 hours, and 37 for a whole day, but you need to fill the fuel, but just extra 1 or 2 dollar. after rent the mower, i started to work. this was the first time using the mower. i asked for help from my neighbour, he told me how to use it. not very hard to use. but cutting the grass was really a hard work for me, there are about 100 ms grass on the backyard, some of them are 50cm height, i am not kiding. after 1.5 hours i finished it, really very tired.
let pass pass, another thing, iPad is comming to Australia on 28th May, the loest price is 649 AUD, it is much higher that it sold in US, maybe because of the GST and tariff. i like the design of the Apple product. and i own an Ipod, but the first generation, i am not listening too much music now, so not need to change it. anyway, who likes iPad, be hurry, buy an Ipad, :)
it is very cold recently, winter is coming?

huge water bill

today, i wake up very late, after 11am, because i am tired. after wake up, i picked up letter. a bill came, a water bill. i opened it, but...i was surprised...more than 300 AUD...normally, it should 110-120 for 3 months, but this time is sooooooo much. i do not know why, for the last three months, no evidence shows we used so much water. then i turned off all the tags, and watched the water meter. it still run. i thought maybe i miss one tag, then i went to the backyard, there is a tag there. but there is a pine on the tag, i took it off...then...i found that, this tag is......not close, the water is running out from the tag...wtf...it runed for last 3 months...maybe more than 3 months. last time the land owner came here to cut the grass, maybe he did not turn it off firmly. the water... the money...we need to pay extra 200 AUD for that...OMG....anyway, we should start to saving the water...
another thing, the migration changes today, not the whole part, just some parts. on the blog of minister for migration and citizenship, it states that:
People will not be able to lodge certain general skilled migration (GSM) visa applications from 8 May 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, said today.

This measure is necessary to facilitate the transition from the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) to the new SOL and to ensure the occupational profile of applicants for GSM clearly reflects the needs of the Australian labour market.
The temporary suspension applies to all applicants for the following GSM visas:
subclass 175 – skilled independent
subclass 176 – skilled sponsored
and
subclass 475 – skilled regional sponsored.
People who try to apply for one of these visas from 8 May until the suspension is lifted will have their application and visa application charge returned.
The government will announce the new SOL later this month.
These changes do not affect international students applying for onshore general skilled migration visas.

i do not know why it changes again, i hope the final SOL will not be so hard for us. i really hope that.

i said i was very tired, the main reason is that i cut the grass two days ago.
the details of it, i will show it few days later, or maybe tomorrow.

a little update

i am now facing the assignments again. i need to focus on my assignments again...
during the last two weeks i got every assements i conducted before. i am happy with the results, i get almost all D, only one assessment for C+. i need to keep working hard :)
some new news about immgration.
first, the CPA migration assessment will be changed in 1st July, people need to get 7 on IELTS, and must all 7 on A test, that is really hard. not only CPA, but the other two accounting organisations- CA and NIA
second, on 30 April, the DIAC needed to pubulish the new SOL, but it failed to do that, instead, it told people to wait for that. on the DIAC website, it states that:

Update on announcement of New Skilled Occupations List

The Government is considering the report from Skills Australia containing their Skilled Occupation List. An announcement and publication of the new Skilled Occupation List for Migration purposes will be made in May.

well, what should i do, just waiting. i hope the coming news is not so bad.
ok, just these little new information, i need to take a shower now, maybe tomorrow, i will write more...just maybe...
